Does the high-end content Production market need a DSLR-style camera? Canon think so. We are not so sure.

Guy Fawkes night always produces a bang or two, and this bonfire weekend Canon have made the biggest noise of all, releasing their new professional-level camera, the C300.

Due for distribution the UK in January, the C300 will come in two flavours – basically to accommodate two different lens mount systems: the EF (which will be common to existing Canon users) and the PL, most typically seen on Arri’s range of high-end camera systems.

Join up the thinking – give us all a break!

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, took time out of his busy schedule this week to visit a round-a-bout in Old Street.

Kind of.

What he was actually doing was offering support for an area of East London called ‘TechCity;’ a group of 600-odd tech businesses that have developed in that area.

Facebook.in? Will mobile be the driver for growth in emerging markets?

The Economic Times today reported some interesting news from Delhi: social networking giant Facebook expects its largest user base to come from the Indian subcontinent in the near future, surpassing Indonesia and the US in terms of sign-ups.

More than 70% of Facebook’s 800 million users are outside the US, with the Indian customer-base growing at a phenomenal pace.   Continue reading

Google+: Open for business?

Let’s face it: Google Wave was rubbish.  If we’re being honest, we didn’t really understand what it was supposed to do or how it was supposed to make the online experience better.  Besides, we have Twitter and Facebook to keep us connected: killer social media platforms whose tentacles now penetrate every desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devise.

Have they come up with an iPhone killer? The answer has to be a big, and conclusive “maybe”. Continue reading

Nothing found.

That’s right, nothing here yet I’m afraid.

Partly down to procrastination, but mainly down to rebuilding the site (we’ve changed from a corporate “shopfront” to this blog).  As a result we’re collating all the articles and will be slowly drip feeding our best efforts into the blog (It’s very much a part time exercise whilst we get on with our day jobs here and here.)

As many of you wordpress nerds will recognise we’re using the twentyeleven WP theme here, at the moment it is pretty vanilla (which actually I quite like) but I intend to hack this as we go along.

If anyone has actually read this, then I’d be inclined to tell you to watch this space, if I wasn’t completely averse to such cliches. If nothing else googlebot will enjoy a bit of text to crawl.
